Alright you fibre-fuelled maniacs.
Strap in. Fire up the shell. It’s weekly update time and we’ve got rack delays, peering drama, and the birth of our remote NOC command centres.
Let’s get into it.
So… the rack didn’t get powered in time. Our Telehouse visit got pushed back a few days while they upgrade the juice. Annoying? Sure. But we’re not plugging enterprise gear into a half-baked feed. This is Olilo. We do things properly or not at all.
The moment it’s ready, we’re in. Tools in hand. Labels on cables. Core coming online.
So Tuesday we'll be heading down to Telehouse
Meet the heart of our network. The brain. The box that whispers BGP bedtime stories.
Juniper MX204 she’s pretty, powerful, and prepped to push packets till the lights flicker. We’ll have a second unit prepped as backup. No single point of failure here. This ain’t amateur hour.
When the network lights up, we’re going live with:
Phase One is solid. Phase Two is brewing. We're currently in talks with:
More transit. More routes. More redundancy.
And this is your moment - if there’s someone specific you want us to peer with, now’s the time to shout. Got a favourite service? Game server? Obscure anime CDN? Drop it. We’ll see what we can pull off.
Behind the scenes, the ops team has been charming wholesalers left and right.
We’re working our way into more open access networks across the UK and yes, that means more towns, more coverage, more of you getting Olilo where you live.
Every week, the map expands.
Code’s still flowing. Slowly turning chaos into clean, structured control panels.
We're not slapping a WordPress skin on top of a mess. We're building something custom. Something... functional. Who does that? We do.
We’ve officially greenlit two remote Network Operations Centres.
Not crammed in some bunker with fluorescent lights. These are home-powered, real-time, and fully armed with monitoring dashboards.
We’re drafting playbooks for everything from dropped sessions to alien packet invasions.
Stuff breaks. But we won’t.
That’s the log for this week.
The rack’s nearly ready. The routers are waiting. The team is geared up.
You’re not just watching this happen. You’re part of it.
Next week, we bring the thunder.
Over and out.

Delayed, But Upgrading

Transit and Peering: Phase One Live
When the network lights up, we’re going live with:
- IP Transit from GTT, Velox, and FyfeWeb
- Peering via LONAP
Phase One is solid. Phase Two is brewing. We're currently in talks with:
- Cogent
- Hurricane Electric
- LINX
More transit. More routes. More redundancy.
And this is your moment - if there’s someone specific you want us to peer with, now’s the time to shout. Got a favourite service? Game server? Obscure anime CDN? Drop it. We’ll see what we can pull off.

OliloOS and The Main Site
Code’s still flowing. Slowly turning chaos into clean, structured control panels.
- OliloOS is coming to life: provisioning flows, automation, account logic all stitched together in glorious code
- The main website is being wired up with plan selection, customer onboarding, and nerdy insights baked right in
We're not slapping a WordPress skin on top of a mess. We're building something custom. Something... functional. Who does that? We do.
Enter the Remote NOCs
We’ve officially greenlit two remote Network Operations Centres.

We’re drafting playbooks for everything from dropped sessions to alien packet invasions.
